After calling Caliber I learned that it was due to the insurance policy they had purchased for me changing, however they did not notify me of the change. I noticed my May mortgage payment was $287.57 higher than I had been paying. In addition to the loan transaction history, and the Loan Modification Agreement, we have enclosed the Goodbye Letter. Please note, the mortgage was service transferred to Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing effecti June 1,2023. After funds from the suspense account were applied, the loan was contractually due for the January 1, 2023, installment. Once the loan modification was approved and the loan modification was processed, the loan modification brought the loan due for the March 1, 2022, installment.Caliber then applied the funds from the suspense account towards the payments that were contractually due. Please note, the payment was applied towards the suspense account due to an application for loss mitigation in process and a pending decision. ***** payment of $1,690.00 in question was received and applied towards the suspense account on February 8, 2023. We appreciate the opportunity to address his concerns. In his correspondence, he states his payment in the amount of $1,690.00 made on February 3, 2023, is missing and was not applied to his account. In reviewing your complaint, we determined we have received a similar complaint in our office on Jand Caliber responded to the complaint on June 6,2023. In your correspondence, you stated that you need help to access the loan and our phone number provided below is incorrect.
